HOURS To PROTEST, Organisers Demand AIR- CONDITIONED Buses From Govt; SEE Their Shocking Reason
Less than 24 hours to the planned nationwide protest against President Bola Tinubu- led government, the youths have demanded a clean, safe, and air- conditioned buses from the Lagos State Government.
According to a statement signed by the Coordinator, Take It Back Movement, Lagos, Adekunle Adeyemi Taofeek, the Babajide Sanwo- Olu’ s government must be responsible for the movement of youths from their various locations to the protest ground approved by the court.
The statement was made public by Omoyele Sowore who posted it on his X account. It added that the protesters will make use of the buses to get to Peace Park in Ketu and Gani Fawehinmi Justice Park in Ojota where public gatherings are allowed according to the court order.
It could be recalled that the State Government has obtained a court order which restricted the protesters to two locations in the Lagos Metropolis.
Reacting to the order, the youths frowned at the development and urged the government to oversee the movement of the protesters to the venue, else the streets will be full of protesters on their way to the approved venues.
” You must bear responsibility for the movement of protesters from several designations in Lagos to and from Peace Park in Ketu and Gani Fawehinmi Justice Park in Ojota in Lagos, ” the statement read.
” Your failure to provide buses for the protesters means they (protesters) would begin to march/walk to the court- designated parks in the city on a daily basis for the duration of the #EndBadGovernance direct actions, ” it added.

Furthermore, the youths reminded the State Government that the buses must be available at some strategic locations latest 6: 00 am and will return the protesters to the same location in the evening.
In addition, the statement added that the buses will continue operation for the whole 10 days of the protest and will extend the days should the demonstration goes beyond the original period.
