In a heartbreaking incident, three students from Cross River State University lost their lives in a tragic auto accident while returning home after a two- week closure of the university.

An eyewitness, identified only as Ndoma Akunobor, who was also a passenger on the bus, shared that the deceased students were enrolled in the departments of Microbiology, Plant Science, and Biotechnology.
