Two BRUTALLY Slaughtered In Cold Blood As Heated Fight Over Throne Takes Unexpected Turn In Osun Community
Two people have died as a result of the royal conflict in Araromi- Owu, Ayedaade Local Government Area LGA, Osun State, which worsened and became a communal catastrophe, leaving the region in ruins as locals abandon their houses to seek shelter in a safer location.

Credible reports from reliable sources revealed that, the circumstances had been brewing since last week, and on Tuesday, when the enraged side in the dispute set fire to automobiles and prized possessions, it finally escalated into a major problem.
Ismail Olaoye, an active member of the community further revealed that in order to keep security personnel from visiting the town, gunmen hired by the resentful party set fire to an access route.
Additionally, rumors circulated that several thugs injured some staff members when they blocked a group of security guards on their way into the neighbourhood which escalated the whole situation from bad to worse.
Another person living in the affected community, who asked to remain anonymous, revealed that the town’ s designated monarch is unqualified and that five people had died in the ensuing chaos as rogue thugs burned cars and houses.
” The aggrieved group was laying claim to the throne of the community when another person had been appointed and was in seclusion already. This sparked the violent protest for days before it degenerated into crisis” , the source added.
While verifying the ugly event, the Superintendent of Police, SP Yemisi Opalola, the spokeswoman for the Osun police command, asserted saying that a special police unit and a mobile police force had been sent to the area to help reinstate calm.
Commenting as well, Barrister Samuel Ojo, Special Adviser on Security to the Governor of Osun State, went on to say that only two deaths have been reported, not five as other reports had earlier claimed. He also added that the issue would have been much worse if the government hadn’ t stepped in a few days earlier.
” We have intervened in the situation since five days ago and managed to not become very brutal. Only two persons have been killed, not five, and presently, all the heads of security outfits in the state are already aware and working to restore law and order in the community” , he affirmed.
