Unbelievable! Pastor, 6 Others Arrested After Unearthing Body Parts In Church- See How They Were caught
A pastor and six members of the Royal God’ s Commandment Ministry International in Calabar have been arrested after the discovery of a shallow grave containing suspicious items, including what appeared to be human parts, within the church premises on Thursday. This incident has led to heightened tension and an investigation by local authorities.
The investigation began when a local woman reported her daughter missing. Following her complaint, the police initiated an inquiry that led them to the church. There, they discovered a shallow grave containing fetish items, birds, and flesh that appeared to be human. While police officials noted the presence of these items, residents firmly believed that the uncovered flesh consisted of human body parts.
Outraged by the findings, an angry mob set fire to the church located at No. 3 Okon Edak Street, off Atamunu Street in the Calabar- South area of Cross River State’ s capital.
State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hafiz Inuwa, confirmed the arrests and ongoing investigation. He detailed the sequence of events: ” A matter was reported to us and the police swung into action. When they got there, the policemen saw some fetish things within the surrounding of the church and they discovered a shallow grave. They dug it and they saw birds buried alive. Close to the grave, there were blood stains and flesh, which only a hospital can analyze. Seven people have been arrested, including the pastor of the church. ”
Eyewitness Linus Ita provided a more gruesome account, alleging the discovery of multiple corpses in the shallow grave. ” The pastor killed a small child in the early hours of Thursday and that was what brought out his diabolic activities. Someone sighted him when he was digging the ground to bury the child. They discovered at least five corpses in the grave and other items. ”
Further disturbing details emerged about the items found at the site. Ita noted that along with the exhumed bodies, the police found women’ s panties and numerous photographs of people who had visited the church. These images were scattered around the church after it was destroyed.
Another eyewitness, Mary Okoro, added context to the horrific discovery. She recalled that on Wednesday, a lady in the community had lamented about her missing child. Strange activities were then observed at the church around 3 a. m. on Thursday, prompting local residents to alert the police. ” It was that strange movement that gave the clue that something was not adding up in the church. At that point, some persons went to report the matter to the police that they suspected foul play around the church. That was how the grave was discovered, ” she explained.
Although Okoro could not confirm the exact number of bodies exhumed, she emphasized the community’ s swift reaction, which culminated in the burning of the church. The anger and outrage were palpable as more details of the pastor’ s alleged fetish activities came to light.
The incident has left the community in shock and mourning, as they grapple with the horrific revelations. The ongoing investigation seeks to provide clarity and justice for the affected families, while the community demands answers and accountability for the gruesome acts discovered within their midst.
