Kano N-Power beneficiaries send Powerful message to Tinubu
The N-power Beneficiaries Forum has commended President Bola Tinubu on his administration’s programmes towards alleviating poverty in the country.
The group is also pleading with the president to appoint Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho as Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
The forum made the request while addressing a press conference in Kano on the achievements of President Tinubu in the last one year.
Through her Queen Adenike Tejuosho Foundation, Dr. Tejuosho, an APC chieftain and philanthropist from Lagos, has been assisting the underprivileged in Nigeria, especially widows and the physically challenged persons.
Chairman of the Kano branch of N-Power Beneficiaries Forum, Nazifi Abubakar, who applauded President Tinubu for achieving a lot in one year, said with the appointment of Dr. Tejuosho, as the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, the APC administration will achieve even beyond its mission agenda.
“The N-power Beneficiaries Forum in Nigeria also congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his one year in office. As beneficiaries dedicated to advocating for the rights and well-being of the N-Power beneficiaries and the less-privileged, we acknowledge the efforts and strides made by the administration in addressing various societal issues.

“In the light of this milestone, the N-Power beneficiaries forum is respectfully urging
President Tinubu to consider the appointment of Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho as the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
“Dr. Tejuosho’s unwavering commitment and support to the N-Power beneficiaries and the less privileged in Nigeria have been exemplary, making her an ideal candidate for this crucial role.
“We in Kano assure you that if Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho is appointed minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, the APC government will win, not only the presidential seat but also the gubernatorial seat in the 2027 Elections,” the Kano chairman said.
Abubakar said the Kano N-Power had written to Governor Abba Yusuf requesting him to turn the N-Power beneficiaries to permanent and pensionable workers in the state but he turned them down, telling them to go to the APC and President Bola Tinubu; but Dr Tejuosho listened to them and assured them the government will do the needful.
