Wike said “I’ve nothing to do with APC. I have malaria you said I should go to cancer-Dan Nwanyanwu
Dan Nwanyanwu, chairman of the Zenith Labour Party, commented on the defection of 27 lawmakers from the Rivers State House of Assembly from the PDP to the APC. He asserted that these lawmakers officially left the PDP when they swore an affidavit in court declaring their move to the APC. In a video shared by Arise TV, Nwanyanwu noted that it doesn’t matter if the 27 lawmakers’ names are not yet on the APC’s membership register or if they later switch to another party. He emphasized that what matters is their public and legal declaration of departure from the PDP and their televised announcement of the defection.
Nwanyanwu explained that the lawmakers swore an affidavit in court affirming their departure from the PDP to join the APC. He added that it is irrelevant whether their names are in the APC register or if they change parties again. The key point is that they made their defection public and legally binding by signing an affidavit in court. View pictures in App save up to 80% data.
