My Hands Are Clean; Wike Dances As Ikpeazu, Gbajabiamila Join Him To Celebrate This Shocking Achievement
Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, danced on Wednesday to celebrate his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom- Wike, being appointed as an Appeal Court judge. In the video obtained by our reporters, Nyesom Wike can be heard singing ” lee nu aka muo, aka m dikwa ocha, ” an Igbo Christian song that translates to ” everyone should look and see that my hands are clean. ”
In the video, former Rivers State Governor Wike was joined in the joyful song by former Abia State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and President Bola Tinubu’ s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila. Professor Chidi Odinkalu, former Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, has questioned Justice Eberechi’ s swearing- in to the Appeal Court. Professor Odinkalu questioned the validity of the nominating procedure. In an X post, he accused Nigeria’ s Chief Justice, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, of nepotism.
Wike and Ikpeazu sang ” Onye ndi ebe a, onye ndi ebe a” in another song in the video, which translates ” if you give people from this side, you give people from the other side” . Siminalayi Fubara, the current Governor of Rivers State, and the FCT Minister are at odds over state control. Governor Fubara said in a statement directed at Wike on Wednesday that Wike and his camp dance on television before going behind to cry.
The minister was seen in the video dancing and clapping his hand alongside some of his strong supporters like former governor Ikpeazu and many others. Wike is happy that he is archiving this great height, attributing his success to God and also claiming that his hands are very clean.
Wike’ s wife who receives this great appointment to be an appeal court Judge is so happy and wiil forever be grateful to God and her husband who has made her what she is today.
