TRUTH EXPOSED!! 17 Years After Sani Abacha’s Death; His Personal Doctor Breaks Silence; See What He Said
In an interview, Professor Sadiq Suleiman Wali, the personal doctor of the late Nigerian military head of state, General Sani Abacha, broke his silence after 17 years to discuss the circumstances surrounding Abacha’s mysterious death.
Professor Wali, who had served as physician to three previous Nigerian heads of state, described Abacha as a quiet and calm person who rarely engaged in extensive conversation.
According to Professor Wali, Abacha s health was generally stable before his sudden demise.
Despite some health issues, particularly related to treatments he responded well to, Abacha did not have any serious heart-related conditions at the time.
The events leading to Abacha’s death unfolded abruptly on June 7, 1998, following a seemingly normal evening where he hosted Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat.
Early the next morning, as Abacha prepared to attend an OAU summit in Burkina Faso, Professor Wali received a frantic call from security officers urging him to rush to the presidential villa.
Upon arrival, he found Abacha lying on a couch in his work clothes, surrounded by medical personnel attempting to resuscitate him. Despite their efforts, Abacha passed away approximately 40 minutes later.
In the aftermath of Abacha’s death, security measures around the presidential complex were heightened, and military leaders were summoned to Abuja to decide on his successor.
Professor Wali, advocating for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death, faced resistance from Abacha’ s family, who insisted on a swift burial in accordance with Islamics Customs.
Nevertheless, Professor Wali managed to collect samples for future chemical analysis, which indicated elevated cardiac enzymes, suggesting a possible heart attack.
Amid persistent rumors of foul play, including poisoning or involvement with women on the night of his death, Professor Wali dismissed these speculations based on his observations upon arrival at the scene.
He emphasized that without a post-mortem examination, it was impossible to definitively ascertain the cause of Abacha’s demise. The mystery surrounding General Abacha’s death remains unresolved to this day, leaving lingering questions and speculation about the true circumstances of his sudden passing.
