EX-VP OSINBAJO Sends Powerful Message To Nigerian Churches, Says They Should Critically Question Sources Of Politicians’ Donations
Former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo emphasized the importance of the church critically assessing donations from politicians and other Nigerians intended to bolster evangelism efforts. He delivered this message during the inaugural lecture held in honor of the late senior pastor of Fountain of Life Church, Taiwo Odukoya, in Lagos.
Osinbajo highlighted the importance of cultivating integrity, compassion, and a commitment to serving others faithfully. He stressed that these values are crucial for fostering accountability and ethical conduct among Christian leaders in public service, ensuring they remain guided by principles that benefit society as a whole.
Osinabjo said: “How often do those who receive money from politicians and from other sources ask for the source of the money?”
