Recall that the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi had said he is saddened to learn of President Bola Tinubu’s unfortunate fall at the Eagles square on democracy day.
Noting that we are all human beings, Mr Obi said we must remember our common human frailty instead of gloating about an accident that could well happen to any of us. In his words: “I was saddened to learn of President Tinubu’s unfortunate fall today. I wish him well. We achieve nothing by gloating about an accident that could well happen to any of us.
*We are all human beings and, while we profoundly disagree on how to move Nigeria forward, we must remember our common human frailty. Let us stay focused on the issues that will lead to a new Nigeria.
“May this moment serve as a
poignant reminder of our shared humanity and the need for compassion, empathy, and unity in our pursuit of a brighter future for our great nation.”
Meanwhile, Abuja- based Prophet Abel Tamunominabo Boma had prophesied about the incident at the Eagles State.
Prophet Abujabased on June 9th prophesied that Tinubu will slip and fall on democracy day, and that Nigerians should pray that he shouldn’ t hit his head.
As observed in a video, the President who approached the vehicle shortly after he arrived at the Eagles Square, Abuja venue of the programme, lost his footing momentarily as he was about to step into the vehicle.
However, despite the slip, the President quickly regained his balance and continued with the proceedings.
