Temitope Adetanju, 25, was arrested in Ogun State after reportedly inserting a piece of firewood into the private areas of a 12-year-old girl. The girl was accused of stealing N650 in Isewo, Obada Oko, Ewekoro Local Government Area, of the state.
According to a statement provided to SaharaReporters, the victim was accused of taking N200 worth of biscuits, N150 worth of Milo beverage, and N300 worth of fruit juice. According to the police statement, the minor was subjected to severe physical punishment by her guardian as a result of her suspected predisposition to steal.
The incident apparently occurred about 11:00 a. m. on Thursday, June 13, 2024. The culprit, Temitope Adetanju, was eventually apprehended by the Divisional Police Officer at Obada- Oko. According to Omolola Odutola, the state police command” s spokesperson,” On 13 June 2024, Ternitope Adetanju, aged 25, was seized by the DPO in Obada- Oko, Ogun State, for purportedly inserting a substantial piece of firewood into the genital area of a 12-year-old girl, accusing her of pilfering items valued at N650.
After receiving the report, police from the Juvenile Welfare Centre were dispatched to arrest Adetanju, who allegedly admitted to the charges. Odutola also stated that investigations were underway to guarantee that all aspects of the incident were thoroughly addressed.
The woman is currently in the police custody were investigation is ongoing. and very soon the woman will be made to face the full wrath of the law for the crime she carried out. The woman has been described as a very wicked woman who can ki without mercy.
