GOOD-NEWS For Igbo People As Tinubu Receives Message From German Director To Release Nnamdi Kanu
The Country Director/Principal Representative of the German Initiative for Knowledge Transfer in Nigeria, Hon. Obinna Ichita, has made a heartfelt plea to President Bola Tinubu to consider the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPОВ).
In an exclusive interview conducted on Saturday in Aba, Ichita expressed that this call for Kanu’s release resonates with the essence of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and underscores the pursuit of justice.
Prior to his appointment as the Country Director/Principal Representative of the German Initiative for Knowledge Transfer in Nigeria, Ichita served as the 2023 Deputy Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and represented Aba South State Constituency as a lawmaker. His extensive experience in governance adds weight to his appeal for Kanu’s release.
During the interview, Ichita emphasized the importance of reflecting on the message embedded in the nation’s anthem, urging fellow Nigerians to contemplate its words to foster a homeland free from oppression and strife. “In the spirit of the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the pursuit of justice, I appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intervene and initiate the necessary processes for the release of all agitators, including Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, “stated Ichita. “Furthermore, I implore the initiation of a program that fosters a national dialogue for genuine reconciliation, aimed at building a peaceful and prosperous homeland for all Nigerians.”
