According to the Kano State Police Command, which made its announcement on Thursday, May 9, 2024, a man who lured his close friend to his house and planned to kill him with a big stick and iron told the command’ s men that he had snuffed out his life because he had taken N3 million to secure a job that didn’t exist and couldn’t repay them.
The man, identified as 35-year-old Sadiq Zubairu, was taken into custody by a group of detectives under the direction of the Officer in Charge of the Anti- Kidnapping Squad, according to Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, who made the announcement on his Facebook wall. The assassin in custody, as shared on Thursday by the Police PRO.
The man allegedly admitted to the command during early investigations that he had planned with two other people and had enticed his close buddy, the victim, to his home before he passed away. The individual further admitted, according to the order, that he had killed the victim by taking N3 million on the false pretense that he would get him a job. Realizing he had no way to get the money back, he recruited two guys, plotted with them, killed him, and concealed the car in a garage.

The man has been tagged as a very wicked man for killing his friend because of debt, which he would have negotiated and paid him for without taking his life.
However the man will be made to face the full wrath of the law for killing his friend because of money.
