The Ogun State Police Command has detained actor Praise, 30, on suspicion of kidnapping and defiling a fourteen-year-old girl. According to Naija News, SP Omolola Odutola, the command’ s public relations officer, revealed this in a statement on Thursday. According to Odutola, the teen’s grandparents reported the girl missing on April 27, 2024, to the Police command.
The girl’ s grandparents claimed that the suspect defiled their granddaughter, claiming that the girl was found bleeding heavily, according to the Police chief. The arrest came following a report on the 1st of May at about 1405 hours from the grandparents of the teenager that their granddaughter got missing since the 27th of April 2024.
The adolescent’ s grandparents further claimed that the suspect had illicit sexual contact with their granddaughter, who was found to be heavily bleeding upon close inspection. For more reliable proof, medical documents have been issued for testing and care in a government hospital.
