A police officer has lost his life after
his wife brutally stabbed him. The wife lost her husband and also put herself in trouble over her inability to control her anger. It was gathered that the deceased officer was on leave when the incident happened. Probably the wife found out and was mad because her husband lied to her, it is unfortunate that the incident happened, the victims are a young couple, the detailed report of the tragic incident will be discussed here.
A 28-year-old police officer, Vincent
Kipterim Kiprotich, has been confirmed dead after he was allegedly stabbed by his wife, ZamZam Bashir, a 26-year-old girl. It is unknown whether the couple had a child/children together before the incident. The wife reportedly murdered her husband inside their apartment situated in Kiplombe, Baringo County, Kenya.
According to the report, Vincent who was an officer attached to the Critical Infrastructure Protection Unit (CIPU) in Mandera County, returned home around 3 am that fateful day. The time he returned horne infuriated the wife and made her leave the house to report to her husband’s brothers. The matter became brutal when she returned to the house.
The Baringo Police Commander, Julius Kiragu, who confirmed the report explained the incident happened on Tuesday, 2nd of April, the husband was on leave that day, he (the husband) came home late and that led to a quarrel between the couple. In the process, the wife held a machete and stabbed her husband. He was rushed to Eldama Ravine Sub County Hospital where he was confirmed dead.
The wife has been arrested and police have The woman has since been arrested and police launched investigations into the incident matter. The dead body of the husband has been recovered and deposited in Eldama Ravine Morgue for autopsy.
