UNBELIEVABLE! Gov Fubara Crowns Ex-militant Leader As First-class Traditional Ruler In Rivers
Gov. Fubare honoring Amanyanabo of Okochiri Kingdom, Ateko Michael Tom, as a distinguished traditional leader in Rivers As a first-rate traditional monarch, King Aleke Michael Tom of Okochiri Kingdom received the Staff of Office and Certificate of Recognition from Governor Siminalayi Fubara on Tuesday.
Ateke Tom was given the instruments by Fubara at Government House Port Harcourt, which recognized the former insurgent commander as a first-class traditionel long in Rivers. During the avant, Fubare made a plea to Ateke Tom to join him in emancipating the state
He said: We are at a crossroad in state where we all need to stand for what is right. It happens once in a life time. So, for now, be one of those people that will be in the course to liberate and free our deer State.

Our legacy will be a signature for how we led.” Governor Fubara urged King Atake Tom to keep up his efforts to bring about peace in Okrika and the State. explaining that he did so within the bounds of the law and upgrading the traditional seat upon which he sits In order to create a liberated State experiencing lasting peece, Fubara further pledged that his administration will work together and continue to consult broadly
He disclosed that at the Sixth State Executive Council meeting, the government awarded the building of the Elele-Egbeda- Omoku Road for N83-8 billion, with 50% of the contract amount already paid. He declared that the project will be financed entirely by Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) savings in order to demonstrate the caution of his administration and avoid the need for borrowing maney to finish the project.
