‘How I Dealt With My Cheating Husband’ – Woman Who Married At 17 Shares
A devastated woman has opened up after discovering her husband was having an affair with another woman.
She has been married to her spouse for 29 years, but acknowledges that she feels foolish for unintentionally recording their “entire sex session” on her phone.
The 50-year-old, who has been married to her spouse since she was seventeen, claims that she has previously caught her partner being unfaithful but “stupidly thought” she could stop his infidelity.
Sharing her story anonymously on the web forum Mumsnet, she explained: “I found out three years ago that my husband was having an affair, he was with this mistress for four years at that stage and I stupidly thought I could change him and that he would be forever grateful to me for giving him a chance.”
She went on: “He saw me going through hell as I got a breakdown and literally couldn’t function eventually after a long while I pulled myself together and thought we were doing ok but I still couldn’t trust him.”
The woman explained that shortly before Christmas she discovered her husband’s ‘second phone’.
On the device, she found suspicious and flirtatious messages between her husband and another woman.
She continued: “I confronted him but, of course, he said they were only fooling and that he never went to her house so with Christmas coming I just tried to forget about it and concentrate on having a happy house for the children.

“I started to notice that he was on his phone a lot and constantly on WhatsApp as I could see on my phone he was always online… I asked him if he was still in contact with this woman and he got very defensive and said I was terrible to ask him such a thing.
“I knew he would never be honest so I put a voice recorder under the seat of his car and low and behold there I heard the whole SEX session (this was with the most recent woman). I listened to it all and it’s like a switch has gone off in my head and suddenly I don’t want him anymore.
“He was meeting up with her while I was at night work and met her three times in one week. He doesn’t know that I know about this yet as I’m not sure how to confront him, I want him to leave the house as I’m never ever taking him back. I don’t even know why I’m writing this.
“I feel such a fool for believing him the first time and now I can see only a lonely life ahead of m. By the way, I’m 50 yrs old and have been with my husband since I was 17.”
She added: “I feel I wasted all my good years with a man who thought very little of me while I was very much in love with him. How could I have been so blind!!”
