UNBELIEVABLE EXPOSURE See Powerful Northern Forces Working To Destabilise Nigeria
The Presidency has attributed the recent kidnappings in the North to political groups in the area attempting to topple President Bola Tinubu’s administration. In an interview with TVC on Sunday night, presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale revealed this.
Mr. Ngelale responded that a lot of work had gone into safeguarding the nation, leading to relative peace in the South- East, when asked when Mr. Tinubu’s administration would stop the revival of mass kidnappings of pupils as were seen in Kaduna and Sokoto last week.
“Where we still have some challenges is in the North- Central, North-West and to a large extent in the North-East. There is still a lot of work to be done, Mr Ngelale said.
He added, “I will say this: across the North, we understand that some of the sub-regional geopolitical forces that are currently at play are actively conspiring against the stability of the Nigerian nation.”
The identity of the sub-regional geopolitical forces” was not made clear by the presidential media adviser.
But according to Mr. Ngelale, the American government was working with Nigerian authorities to gain the release of more than 280 pupils who had been abducted in Kaduna.
“It is worth noting that the United States government has also pledged its assistance to ensure that there is a full return of all of the schoolchildren who were kidnapped recently in Kaduna,” Mr Ngelale said.
He stressed that the point is we are going to continue to intensify our collaboration not just within the region, but internationally to make sure that some of the regional actors that are conspiring against our nation are brought to justice and ultimately silenced in the future.”
“Some of the sub-regional geopolitical forces that are currently at play are actively conspiring against the stability of the Nigerian nation,” said Mr Ngelale.
In addition to ordering security services to free the pupils and others, Mr. Tinubu denounced the kidnappings. Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Amnesty International chastised Mr. Tinubu for neglecting his fundamental duty of protecting life and property while demanding the release of individuals who had been kidnapped.

The claims made by Mr. Ngelale linking political forces in Northern Nigeria to the recent wave of kidnappings in Borno, Kaduna, and Sokoto, which resulted in the abduction of over 300 individuals, are not supported by the reality on the ground.
