See Shocking End Of Boy Who Killed His Mother And Had Sex With Her Corpse For Ritual
An 18-year-old individual named Samuel Akpobome found himself in police custody in Edo State, accused of the gruesome murder of his mother, Christiana Ighoyivwi, allegedly in pursuit of money rituals. Akpobome shared his chilling account of the events, revealing that he strangled his mother while she was asleep in their home on Market Road, Ologbo, Ikpoba- Okha Local Government Area of the state.
Shockingly, he admitted to engaging in sexual intercourse with her lifeless body following the murder.
Hailing from Delta State and being the youngest child of the victim, Akpobome claimed to have been following the instructions of an unnamed native doctor. According to him, he sought the advice of this individual from Oghara, who allegedly urged him to commit the heinous act.
Akpobome confessed, ” I wanted to use her (Christiana) for money rituals. I strangled her, she was sleeping when I strangled her at about 5 am. I was advised by a native doctor in Oghara to kill her. After killing her, I slept with her. He continued, revealing that the native doctor instructed him to keep his mother’ s corpse for two days, but didn’t specify the duration of the sexual act with the deceased.
Disturbingly, Akpobome disclosed that his motive for the brutal act was solely financial gain, stating,” My mother did not offend me. I killed her because of money. “The gruesome discovery was made when his grandmother stumbled upon her daughter’s lifeless body and raised an alarm, leading to Akpobome’s apprehension.
He confessed, “I could not find a place to keep it (corpse). As I was about coming out, I did not know that my grandmother was sitting outside. When I opened the door, my grandmother sighted the corpse inside the room and raised the alarm that drew the attention of neighbours.”

Johnson Kokumo, paraded Akpobome alongside more than 80 other suspects. apprehended for various offenses. The crime was reported at the Ologbo Police Station by one Patrick Ogiegbede at approximately 6 am on October 29th. The community was left reeling from the shock of such a horrific crime committed within its midst.
