20-Year-Old Lady Gets Brutally Stabbed To Death By Boyfriend While Preparing For UTME Exams- Details
The Bosero community in Olodo, Odeda Local Government Area of Ogun State was left in disbelief following the brutal murder of 20-year-old Temitope Elemide in her family residence.
The victim, who was an aspiring university student preparing for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), was found lifeless on Sunday, having been stabbed with a knife on her head and body.
The shocking incident prompted a swift response from the authorities, leading to the arrest of 29-year-old Jamiu Salihu as a suspect in connection with the vicious murder.
Ogun State Police spokesperson, SP Omolola Odutola, confirmed the distressing turn of events, describing it as a case of suspected murder reported to the police on Sunday.
Odutola revealed that Salihu, identified as the victim’s boyfriend, is a prime suspect in the case, he was allegedly seen emerging from the bushes on the day of the incident.
The initial investigation resulted in the recovery of a knife, two iron rods, and an android techno phone as pieces of evidence, additionally, the victim’s lifeless body was taken to the morgue, adding a sense of urgency to the case.
