Vigilante Brutally Slaughters Lover, Dumps Body In Gutter, See What He Did Next That Shocked Everyone
The police operatives of Imo State Police Command have arrested a local vigilante after he was accused of killing hir year-old girlfriend in cold blood.
It was gathered the suspect perpetrated the heinous crime in Owerri Municipal area of Imo State.
While speaking with the newsmen, a source from the community revealed that the incident came to light when the lifeless body of the lady was discovered inside a filthy gutter close to his house.
He added that the body was found inside a gutter opposite his uncompleted building located at Madumere Street in Owerri, the capital city of Imo State.
He further revealed that when he arrived at his uncompleted building, he was shocked when he saw a crowd of sympathizers at the scene of the incident. He quickly arranged how the dead body would be removed from the scene and deposited in the mortuary.
In his words, he said, “I am speaking concerning a 30-year-old orphan girl who was brutally killed by his lover and abandoned in a gutter opposite my uncompleted building.
“I was shocked when I met a serious crowd gathering at my uncompleted building. When I discovered what happened I quickly arranged for the dead body to be moved out of the scene and deposited in the morgue. I settled the bill for the evacuation and mortuary. I dashed to the police station at Owerri Urban to report the case but the officers were trying to play games so I quickly moved the matter to the command headquarters in the Homicide section.
*In the process of reporting the case at the station, I arranged for four legal teams to visit the community for surveillance. With the help of the President General of the community, it was discovered that the deceased was the lover of one of the vigilante operatives.
One of the youths revealed that he saw the deceased and her boyfriend at Onumiri Street before her death. Where the girl’s body was discovered was just two poles to the suspect’s house.
“The police and my lawyers continued with the surveillance until the suspect was apprehended. The suspect is currently in Homicide custody, at police command headquarters.
“It was discovered during interrogation that the suspect had been in a relationship with the deceased for four years and was preparing to pay her bride price when the incident occurred. We also find out that he was already married with kids. We also discovered that the deceased was a native of Egbu in Owerri- North LGA.
“When the victim’ s siblings went to the police to write their statement, we discovered that the suspect is being backed by a Rtd Commissioner of Police who is planning to close the case.
“Due to the poor financial status of the victim’s family, the suspect was trying to connive with the Rtd CP to pay the bride price of the deceased in death to her family in a bid to settle them.
“We implore the victim’s family to remain strong in the pursuit of justice but the suspect’s threat is making them panic.” However, Henry Okoye who happens to be the Public Relations Officer of the Imo
