Nigerian Boy Shocks People, Brings In American Woman For Marriage, How He Did It Will Shock You
When Kano State barber Isa Sulaiman, 26, tied the marriage with his American lover Janine Sanchez Riemann, 46, yesterday, it made a lot of people chuckle. According to Islamic tradition, the wedding was held in the Police College Juma’ a Mosque in Gasau, on Panshekara Road, in Kano. Senator Shehu Sani was one of the guests.
According to reports, Adam Abubakar, the mosque’s imam, united the couple to make one after the bridegroom paid N50, 000 as the bride price. The couple fell in love after meeting on the social media platform Instagram.
The mother of two, Ms. Reimann, revealed that Sulaiman spotted and warned her about a scammer trying to trick her on social media, which is how their collaboration started.
“I declined to respond because I have firsthand experience with Nigerian con artists.
Sulaiman identified the man texting her as a con artist. He replied by telling him to go get a job and quit conniving innocent people. Thus, I felt he sounded like a cute guy,” the chef bride from California said.
Sulaiman, a Kano resident and native of Niger State, stated he had always dreamed of marrying a white person and starting a mixed-race family. The groom insisted that his vision had come true when the white woman responded to his message. Before, he had fallen in love with Nafisa Tahir, a Hausa girl. This year, the American took a plane to Kano, and the two continued texting.
Sulaiman’s father, Isa, a retired police officer, said he was happy to see his son marry the American, as long as she would allow him to continue practicing his Muslim beliefs.
The family said that after a few months of honeymooning in Kano, the bride would be sending Isah to the US to help pay for his education. Senator Sani claims that the union is evidence that intended partners are not barred from marriage due to their race, religion, or colour. He gave the two advice on how to be good role models for Nigerian youth.
He conveyed his desire that Ms. Delsky
will eventually convert to Islam and
become a Muslim.
Fatima Suleman, Isa’s mother, said she had no issues to her son’s connection with his American girlfriend and that she
would pray for them to have a happy married life.
Similarly, answering questions from reporters at his Panshekara house, Alhaji
Sulaiman pledged to provide his son with all the assistance he needed to ensure a smooth departure for the United States and a happy marriage to an American
woman.
