We STABBED His Neck & DUMPED Body Inside A Soakaway- Killers Of Abducted Teenager Make Shocking Confession
Three suspected kidnappers have apprehended and detained by security operatives of the Kano state police command in connection with the reported abduction and murder of a young boy, 14 years of age who appears. to be their neighbour.
This tragic occurrence was verified via a press report to members of the press by the Superintendent of Police, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa who is also the public relations officer (PPRO) of the
state police command.
The press report read that, ” on 08/02/2024 at about 11:00 hrs, a report was received from one Alhaji Rabiu Abdullahi, of Hotoron Fulani Quarters Kano, that he received a phone call from an unknown person stating that his son, Abdullahi Sani, aged 14 years old of the same address, was kidnapped and a ransom of four million naira (N4, 000, 000: 00) was demanded for his release”.
On the other hand, the police correspondent, SP Kiyawa also noted that, the state commissioner of police, CP Mohammed Usaini Gumel, assembled a squad of officers from the command’s anti- kidnapping section to guarantee the victim’s rescue and the apprehending of the abductors. This decision was said to have led to the capture of the suspects but it is quite
unfortunate that the victim was already killed before help could get to hik.
He went on to say that the security operatives got right to work. The primary suspect, Ismail Adamu, 22 years old resident of Hotoron Fulani Quarters in Kano, was apprehended following a preliminary inquiry and tip off by reliable sources.
Furthermore, when questioned, the suspect admitted to planning the victim’ s kidnapping along with a colleague named Risi from Mariri Quarters in Kano.
The suspect continued saying that after taking the victim to Sabuwar Zara Village, they stabbed him in the neck and dumped him inside a soakaway at an uncompleted building in Sabuwar Zara Quarters, Kano, adding that they then got in touch with the victim’s father and demanded N4, 000, 000 (four million naira) in exchange for the victim’s release despite already killing him in the
first place.
Sadly, the lifeless body of the deceased was retrieved from the soakaway after
the police squad visited the crime scene
and sent to Abdullahi Wase Specialists
Hospital Kano, where a medical
professional pronounced it dead and
placed it in the hospital’s mortuary.
The Deputy Superintendent of Police,
DSP Kiyawa reported that two more suspects, Abdullah and Musa Usman, were taken into custody following a covert investigation while emphasizing that the accused will face charges in court as soon as the necessary inquiries are concluded.
