Drawing attention to Nigeria’s recent 1- 2 defeat to Cote d’Ivoire in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations final, the youths interpreted the loss as a necessary wake-up call to redirect citizens’ attention to the prevailing untold hardships.
“We express gratitude to the divine for Nigeria’ s defeat in the football competition. We beseech that Nigeria does not emerge victorious until equitable governance is restored,’ expressed the northern youths, encapsulating their weariness with the status quo.
