I Grabbed Her Neck, Stabbed Her To DEATH To Steal Her iPhone XR- Killer Of AAUA Student Confesses
A young man who goes by the name, Olubodun Sanni, 21-year-old final-year student at Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko, AAUA, Ondo State, has admitted to fatally stabbing one Adebisi Adekunle Ifeoluwa, a 20-year-old female student just for the sole purpose of stealing her iPhone XR.
Quite unfortunately, Adebisi, the deceased victim, 300- level economic student is said to have shared and lived in the same hostel which is located off- campus with her killer while enrolled in the above-mentioned tertiary institution.

According to a reliable police source the suspect admitted that he was drawn to the victim through her phone and that he thought of a way to get close to her by becoming her friend.
Narratively, the police source noted that, “the suspect confessed even before her parents that on that ill-fated day, he approached the victim to transfer some films from her phone to his iPad. The unsuspecting female student obliged but didn’t allow him into her room. She told the suspect that her phone battery was low”.
“The suspect then excused himself to come back later with his power bank to charge the victim’s phone. He came back to the victim’s room very late and was allowed into the room where he grabbed the victim by the neck and stabbed her in the chest with a knife he brought along”.
“The suspect then took the victim’s phone, destroyed her SIM card and inserted his own SIM card. Police findings showed that he would make use of the phone during the day and hid it inside an uncompleted building close to the hostel”, the source revealed.

On the other hand, after learning that the SIM was active from police detectives who followed the call chart to the suspect’s mother, who was later taken Into custody.
“The mother after interrogation, led police detectives to her son’s hostel where he was arrested”, a source claimed.
Conclusively, Abayomi Oladipo, the state commissioner of police, paraded the accused killer, a Geology student at the university, with other criminals and noted in Akure, the capital city of Ondo state that the suspect was apprehended by
using contemporary technology to track
down the stolen phone.
