TINUBU Under ATTACK? Yoruba Traders Threaten To Beat President As They Cry Over
Amid the economic crisis in the country, some Yoruba traders have vowed to beat President Bola Tinubu up one-on-one should they have the opportunity to meet him.
The market women blasted the President and his economic policies which have made things difficult for them, particularly the rise in the cost of foodstuffs. They claimed that the food. has become unaffordable for them and many households.
The women while speaking to a Sugarlink Concepts reporter in their local dialect said they were disappointed by President Tinubu- led government, stressing that what’s happening is totally different from what they were expecting from his administration.
“He’s not behaving like a Yoruba man; he has disappointed us in Yoruba land,” a woman at the local market in Ogun State said.
As things are now, we’ re tired. A carton of sardine is N100, 000, ” a fish seller at the market lamented, while her colleague called on President Tinubu to have mercy on Nigerians as things were getting out of hand. We’re tired of Nigeria, everything is costly, everything is getting costly every day,” she said.
Meanwhile, the traders claimed that many people have been sent to their graves with the economic situation, particularly the elderly ones who couldn’ t eat at the appropriate time due to the unaffordability of foodstuffs.

Asked what they would tell the president if they had the opportunity to see him, one of the traders threatened, “We will beat him up, the president.
