UZODIMMA’S LAST FOUR YEARS WAS FOUNDATIONAL FOR TRANSFORMATION OF IMO STATE, SAYS PRINCESS CALISTA ANENE
The immediate past Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Imo State on Humanitarian Affairs and founder of Amede Ajie Foundation for Women and Youths, Hon Princess Callista Anene has described the last four years of 3R Shared Prosperity government of Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma led administration in Imo State as a world class visionary and foundational leadership carefully perfected to actualize massive development and transformation for subsequent years ahead in the State.
According to Princess Callista Anene,lasting and impactful development is only achievable when a leader works out deliberate development and transformation plan and lays a solid and durable foundation upon which the plan would be executed and actualized and that in his wisdom and foresight, the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma took the last four years to set development and transformation Agenda upon which the foundation for rapid socioeconomic development of the State is rooted.She added that such selfless and visionary leadership aimed at making the State better was Senator Uzodimma’s magic wand which endeared him to Imo Citizens who in their wisdom deemed it necessary to renew his mandate so that the massive development and transformation already in progress is not interrupted.
Princess Anene,who is a top grassroots political leader in Oguta Local Government Area and Canadian based women and youth Rights Campaigner bared her mind while fielding questions to newsmen penultimate Monday in Owerri on the State of State of Imo State as Uzodimma got inaugurated as second term Governor of the state for another four years.She recalled that at the outset of Senator Uzodimma’s administration in 2020, the State was at the brink of collapse with poor and dilapidated infrastructure and social Amenities but observed that with the Governor’s ingenuity and commitment to the service of the state,he was able to change the narratives with his rehabilitation, recovery and restoration initiative which eloquently manifest through sprawling and solid infrastructural developments currently in place.
The Oguta Ameshi born Princess and political Amazon stated that with the triumphant return of Senator Hope Uzodimma as a second term Governor, the stage is now set for consolidation of his development Agenda which started at the outset of his first from January 15,2020 to January 15,2024 and posited that Imo Citizens will see a redoubled developmental strides which would make the massive achievements of the first tenure a Child’s play.
Anene eulogized the Governor and his team for advancing the course of modern infrastructural development, especially in the areas of solid road construction and reconstruction, improved health care services and infrastructure, renovation of schools, establishment of new Universities, women and youth empowerment,prompt payment of salaries and pensions, incentives and improved welfare packages for the workers and several others.
She congratulated Senator Uzodimma on a very successful second term inauguration and called on him to continue with the good work already started, reminding him that expectations are too high from the Citizens which the second term mandate will serve as a means to attain the Imo State of our collective dream and aspiration.
Anene while rapping up her appraisal of Governor Uzodimma’s developmental strides in the last four years,scored the Governor Distinction,95 percent of excellent performance and on the basis of such eventful and remarkable outing,she urged the good people of Imo State to rally round their leader and Governor, Senator Uzodimma and support him to succeed in providing the state the best political leadership he is poised to continue with.
