Man Returns Home After 17 Years To Discover His Wife Now Has A Child With Another Man
A Kenyan woman identified as Agripina Mulupi was in a state of shock when her husband whom she believed was dead walked majestically into their home 17 years later.
According to reports, the said husband identified as Boniface Moi Muyeshi left his wife and two children in Lurambi, Kakamega County in 2006 to search for greener pastures in Nairobi. Many years passed but Boniface never returned so his wife and assumed that he was dead.
Mulupu also fell in love with someone else who has been taking care of she and her three children.
However, their relationship witnessed an unexpected turn when 42-year-old Boniface showed up out of the blue after almost two decades.
Locals in Emukoyani, Butsotso Ward broke into a fit of singing and dancing as they celebrated his return. The family welcomed their son in traditional fashion, slaughtering a ram in the process.
According to reports by local media, a prayer session preceded a cleansing ceremony and the prodigal son was then reunited with his kin.
“He left home for Nairobi back in 2006. He left his family behind never to be seen again,” a resident said.
Boniface was somehow hoping to meet his wife waiting for him, but he was saddened to learn that she had a child with another man. However, Mulupi said that following her husband’s return, she had to end her current relationship and reunite with him.
