Residents In SHOCK; As Suspected Ritualists Dismember Corpse Of Lady On The Street In Uyo (WARNING: GRAPHIC VIDEO)
People living in Uyo were surprised to discover a sack, which which contained the dismembered corpse of a woman,
identified as Victoria Bassey Edet. The sack was Dumped by an individual, along a street in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, on the 29th of January.
An X user, @DrPenking, took to his handle to post a graphic video of the dismembered lady’ s body parts on the ground, lying by the roadside.
The discovery drew a crowd of residents living in the area to the scene, who gathered round and expressed shock at the gory sight of the dismembered body of the woman.
On his X handle, the user tweeted: ‘ ‘ This woman was murdered, butchered, (and her body) packed inside a bag and dropped by the side of Nwaniba Road, Uyo this morning (Monday).
Her full name is Victoria Basset Edet. (Her name and) phone number were written on a piece of paper and dropped inside the bag. Vital parts of her body are missing. ‘ ‘ he wrote.
The post, and the video, have generated a lot of angry reactions from people who viewed the story. Especially with the report of the victim’ s body parts missing, it has sparked suggestions that she may have fallen into the hands of ritual killers. See some reactions to the news below:
