In the aftermath of the recent violence in Plateau State, particularly in the Mangu local government area, a shocking revelation has emerged, shedding light on the underlying causes of the unrest. The most recent attacks on Christians, torching of church buildings at Mangu and the Christmas eve massacre at Bokkos/Barkin- Ladi Local Government Areas of the state, which claimed the lives of at least 140 predominantly Christians, according to him, were not isolated incidents but part of a larger pattern targeting areas rich in mineral resources and agricultural produce.
