One desperate Nigerian woman has been accosted and arrested for stealing and selling babies, including her neighbor bany which she attempted to sell for N500k before she was caught red- handed on the spot.
According to the information surrounding the viral video, the lady was alleged to have been into selling babies. In her confusion, she said she used to sell females for 500 thousand naira and males for 1 million naira. Sometimes, the female could be above N500k, depending on the buyer.
On how she came about the infant girl she was caught with, she said the baby belonged to her neighbor, and that the mother told her to look after the child while she was in the bathroom bathing. Later she went back to the mother and told her that she was going out. The unsuspecting mother said okay and that she too would soon be done with her bath and come out to look after her child herself.
Meanwhile, she secretly went back to pick up the child before the mother came out of the bathroom. She was at the point of selling the baby that she was caught.
When they asked her about her buyer and partners in the business, she said the person who introduced the business to her had been killed. She said they caught her boss with a stolen child and she was burnt to death by the mob. Since then, she said she has been doing business alone.
