Some kidnappers terrorizing villages in FCT, Abuja were recently arrested by the Nigerian police. While parading the suspects, one of them confessed to how he used to connive with others who had guns to perpetrate their evil act and after a successful operation, they will cut his share for him. A notorious kidnapper whose name is undisclosed has revealed a shocking confession about his career as a kidnapper. The confession was made on Channel television. The suspect was among those who were terrorizing residents of Bwari village in Abuja. In his confession, he said he has only carried out three operations, two were successful as he was given his share while the third operation led to his arrest.
He said he was a security guard before he switched to kidnapping, he ventured into it this year because of money. He started kidnapping this year and he had performed two operations within a month, he said he collected N600, 000 share on his first operation while he was given N500, 000 on the second one, he was apprehended after the third operation. You can imagine the more people the suspect would have kidnapped for ransom this month or this year if the police did not nab him on time.
