During a meeting of landlords in the area, Olalekan Thanni, the chairman of Kolapo Ishola GRA, and Otunba Jimi Bolusere, the vice chairman of Carlton Gate Residents Association, expressed their concerns about the dangerous situation. They described the issue as a ticking time bomb that needs to be addressed promptly.
The residents are acting on the advice of Governor Seyi Makinde, who has urged them to speak up if they notice any potential dangers. They emphasized the significant risk posed by the haphazard placement of gas and petrol stations, especially considering their proximity to schools, churches, and residential areas within the estate.
