Questioning the credibility of the BBC, Israel accused them of paying Sihle and others to create false stories about Prophet TB Joshua. He claimed Sihle visited the church in Nigeria with intentions of engaging in inappropriate activities with the late prophet. Israel asserted having explicit material from Sihle, including messages and voice notes.
