HORRORðŸ˜! Christmas Turns To Mourning As Heartless Gunmen Gun Down Church Worshipers In Ebonyi In Cold BLOOD
Tragically, as PUNCH Online reported, a Catholic Church in Ebonyi State was the target of a horrific assault by attackers who have not yet been identified, taking the lives of three innocent people. The terrifying event occurred on Sunday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, which is located near the Nkweagu Market in the Abakaliki Local Government Area, at around 11: 30 p. m.
The attackers, who were referred to as hoodlums, assaulted the church, mercilessly attacking unwary worshipers, according to a trustworthy source in the neighborhood. The community insider said that the attackers used a cunning strategy while maintaining their identity. They allegedly called a well- known Point of Sale (PoS) operator at Nkwuagu Market who was one of the victims, and gave him instructions to leave the church. Unfortunately, the victim was brutally shot to death as soon as he followed their instructions.
A shadow of sadness and terror has descended across the town after this horrific occurrence. The busy Nkwuagu Market, located on the Abakaliki/Afikpo Expressway, is immobilized even on Christmas Day, indicating that the whole community is in grief and that this has a visible influence on local economic operations.
