DEADLY Terrorists Shake NIGERIA, Slaughter Over 50 People, Injure Many Soldiers In Devastating Attacks
Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, decried the tragic loss of life as he reported that a minimum of 50 individuals fell victim to unidentified assailants in various communities within the Mangu and Bokkos local government areas of the state. The revelation came during a luncheon organized by Lt. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, Chief of Army Staff, for troops of Operation Safe Haven in Mangu on Monday.
Expressing his dismay over the relentless assaults and the wanton destruction of farmlands and properties by these gunmen, Governor Mutfwang pledged to implement stringent measures to address the escalating insecurity in the state.
In an official statement, the individual declared, ” Based on intelligence reports at my disposal, a minimum of 50 individuals have lost their lives in Mangu and Bokkos within the past 48 hours. This level of violence is intolerable. It is time to put an end to these mindless and unjustifiable acts! ”
Undeterred by the attacks, Governor Mutfwang emphasized the resilience of Plateau people, asserting their determination to progress despite the challenges. He extended gratitude to the troops for their unwavering efforts in combating insecurity, assuring them of his commitment to supporting the military and other security agencies in securing the state.
