Governor Sim Fubara has officially endorsed the agreement brokered with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike during a meeting with President Bola Tinubu. Rivers State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Joseph Johnson, confirmed the signing of the agreement, emphasizing the governor’ s commitment to the peace process.
Speaking on Channels TV, Johnson emphasized the governor’ s dedication to implementing the agreement, stating, ” There is nothing to doubt it. We have gone beyond the issue as to who signed, and who didn’ t sign. ” He highlighted the governor’ s adherence to the pursuit of peace, citing biblical principles and asserting that Fubara is unwavering in his commitment to the rules.
Johnson also assured that the governor’ s actions during the meeting were not indicative of weakness but rather a demonstration of his commitment to resolving the political crisis in the state. He hinted at forthcoming announcements of approvals from the governor, signaling his preparedness for peace.
