Man Points Gun At Wife’s Daughter, Strips Her Naked & Rapes Her Until This Happened
The police operatives have arrested a man after he was accused of forcefully having carnal knowledge of his 13- year- old stepdaughter at gunpoint.
The suspect threatened to kill the victim if she told anybody about the incident.
Following the arrest, the suspect was arraigned before Justice Ndirowei Donald of Harare Regional Magistrate
The residents of the community have been thrown into a state of shock over the matter. The suspect was said to have carried out the heinous act since 2020.
The identity of the suspect was not disclosed to protect the identity of the victim. The suspect allegedly raped the victim several times and threatened her with death to keep her silent.
The court urged the suspect during court trial to seek bail at the High Court and he is expected to appear again before the court on the 12th of January 2024.
While addressing the court, the prosecution revealed that the suspect began to assault the victim in 2020. One fateful day, the suspect returned home and found the victim alone. He used that opportunity to quickly have sex with her without her consent.
He added that when he wanted to rape her, he pointed a gun at her, stripped her naked, and had sex with her forcefully. He then vowed to kill her if she told anyone about the incident.
According to the prosecution, the victim who was scared to die decided to keep silent. The suspect raped her another day making two separate instances.
