Adams Oshiomhole Drops BOMBSHELL, Names 3 Prominent Politicians Who Plotted His Removal As APC Chairman
In a compelling revelation, former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, shed light on a calculated scheme orchestrated by former Governors Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti, Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun, and Salihu Lukman, the ex- national vice chairman, North- west, to oust him from his position as the head of the ruling party.
Speaking at the launch of the book ” APC and Transition Politics” authored by Salihu Lukman, Oshiomhole disclosed the intricate details of his struggle against governors aligned with the APC. He exposed how Lukman, in collaboration with certain governors, spearheaded a relentless campaign resulting in his perceived ” illegal” removal from office.
Oshiomhole pointedly accused the governors of resorting to various illicit methods in their bid to eliminate him, citing his efforts to uphold party supremacy as the catalyst for their actions. He highlighted Lukman’ s dismissive approach, revealing that the former national vice chairman penned several letters criticizing his leadership without engaging in direct communication.
Recalling the undemocratic appointment of Lukman by the governors’ forum, Oshiomhole expressed discontent over not being consulted despite his status as a former governor. He underscored the lack of transparency in the process, emphasizing Lukman’ s presence at a meeting held at Imo House, an unconventional venue instead of the APC office.
