My Wife Must Pay Me N1 Million Before Giving My Consent To Her Divorce Petition- Man Declares Openly In Court
A businessman who goes by the name, Nasiru Yunusa who was dragged before an Upper Area Court in Kubwa, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja has given a shocking condition before he would give his consent to the divorce of his wife, Aisha Hamisu saying it is only going to happen if she pays him the sum of N1 million naira.
In the year 2021, Yunusa and Hamisu were blessed with a daughter after getting married and blessed together as husband and wife in accordance with Islamic law.

However, the woman, Hamisu filed for divorce from Yunusa in court, clarifying that her husband, Yunusa doesn’ t have any regard for her well- being nor respect, explaining that back in the year 2022, precisely 19th April, Yunusa moved all her belongings and possessions from their matrimonial home back to her father’ s house.
The complainant went on to say that, she can’ t continue to live such a miserable life which left her no choice but to seek for dissolution of the marriage but in response to this, her husband, Yunusa made it clear that he would only grant her a divorce if she agrees to pay him back N1 million he had spent already.
” I have spent money on a lawyer for court proceedings which has been going on and all I have spent on her is N1 million which I am ready to prove” , he emphasized strongly.
