FINALLY, After Many Weeks Of Political War, Wike And Fubara End Rift; SEE Tinubu’s 8- point Resolution That Ended The War
Following a meeting at the Aso Villa in Abuja on Monday night with President Bola Tinubu, the two main political players in the crisis engulfing Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike appears to have achieved an agreement.
President Tinubu reportedly met with all parties involved in the conflict and obtained their commitment to upholding the eight decisions that were achieved during the parley.
The resolution outlined the actions that parties to the conflict were expecting to take and was signed by both Governor Siminalayi Fubara, his predecessor, and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.
THE 8- POINT RESOLUTIONS
It was reportedly decided that all cases the contending parties had filed in court should be withdrawn right now.
All sides, particularly Wike’ s camp, agreed to immediately drop all impeachment procedures against the governor that the Rivers State House of Assembly had started.
The rival parties decided to acknowledge Martin Amaewhule’ s leadership in the Rivers State House of Assembly rather than Edison Ehie’ s. Amaewhule and his 26 comrades who defected from the PDP to the APC were acknowledged by both camps.
