In a shocking video that has gone viral on the internet, Boma Goodhead, a member of the House of Representatives from Rivers state, has pointed fingers at Nyesom Wike for orchestrating the killing of Bako Angbashim, a Divisional Police Officer in Ahoada East local government area of the state.
Goodhead, who represents Asari- Toru Federal Constituency in the lower chamber of the National Assembly, called on the security agencies to interrogate Wike, the former governor of Rivers state, over the death of Angbashim.
The DPO met his untimely end during a shootout with a cult group on Friday, September 8. The police have already arrested and displayed the alleged murderers, but Goodhead maintains that Wike is the mastermind behind the crime.
The federal legislator, who is the sibling of ex- militant leader Asari Dokubo, also claimed that Wike failed to win his polling unit in the presidential election. She also accused Wike of embezzling $300 million that was meant for the Ogoni people, calling the FCT minister ” a deceitful and wicked liar. ” She said that Wike has been bragging that he has the judiciary and the presidency under his control.
The video comes amid the rising tension in Rivers state, where Wike and his successor, Governor Sim Fubara, have been at loggerheads over political and administrative issues.
