In a shocking incident in Sango Ota, Ogun State, a woman, yet to be identified, vanished with two four- year- old boys just three days after moving into an apartment rented from landlord Johnson Oshinowo. The children are not only the landlord’ s son but also belong to a neighboring family.
The landlord reported the distressing disappearance to the police on December 12, 2023. The woman had rented the apartment on December 7, and within a short span, she absconded with the children, leaving no trace of her whereabouts. What adds to the mystery is that neither the landlord nor the house agent conducted a background check on the woman before renting the apartment to her.
The Ogun State Police Command’ s Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident, revealing that the police swiftly initiated investigations upon receiving the report. Preliminary inquiries revealed that the woman had spent only three days in the rented house, and no information about her background is known. The absence of a profile for the suspect further complicates the situation.
