BREAKING: Vice President Drops Bombshell Solution To IPOB And Banditry; See How
Vice President Kashim Shettima made a noteworthy speech during the National Institute for Security Studies’ Executive Intelligence Management Course 16 graduation event. He stressed the necessity of using nonviolent methods to address urgent security issues throughout Nigeria. Shettima called attention to particular issues such banditry in the North- Central region, terrorism in the North- East and North- West, and agitation by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in the South- East.
Shettima emphasised that in order to effectively address these complicated concerns, it is imperative to adopt both kinetic and non- kinetic solutions, given the complexity of the security scene. The Vice President acknowledges that typical military or aggressive methods might not be enough to address the underlying causes of these difficulties, which is why he has called for a nuanced and complete approach.
During his address in Abuja, Shettima underscored the need for an improved governance system in Nigeria to confront the underlying factors contributing to the current security issues. By addressing these enablers, Shettima believes the government can lay the groundwork for lasting solutions and create an environment conducive to stability.
” The agitation by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in the South- East, the banditry in the North- Central, and terrorism in the North- East and North- West need to be tackled using not just a kinetic approach but also non- kinetic means, ” Shettima stated, emphasizing the importance of a holistic strategy.
