JUST IN! Tinubu Launches ‘Keke Napep’ That Doesn’t Use Fuel To End High Cost Of Transportation
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Federal Government has launched a Compressed Natural Gas “Keke NAPEP” in the face of the the high cost of transportation in the country.
The Nigerian Orientation Agency in collaboration with the SIMBA Group of Companies, and Ecomead Acres, launched the CNG Keke on Friday, in Abuja, noting that it will cut down the high cost of transportation in the country.
The CNG tricycle consumes less fuel compared to the existing tricycles.
Lanre Issa-Onilu, the Director General, NOA, said the project is focused on touching the lives of ordinary Nigerians.
The DG said the Federal Government has established about 10,000 CNG stations across the country to ensure the availability of compressed natural gas to the users of the newly launched tricycles.
Recall that a few months ago, President Bola Tinubu had said that he is aware of the hardship Niegrians are facing due to the various policy decisions of his administration.
