Akoko Federal Constituency Bye-Election: Local Government Exco and Ward Chairmen rally Supports for Dr. Muyiwa Olusa

The bye-election into the House of Representatives representing the Akoko North East and North West Federal constituency of Ondo State comes up soon. This is what prompts Dr. Muyiwa Olusa to meet with the local government executives and ward chairmen of Akoko North West local government area of the All Progressives Congress Party Secretariat office in Okeagbe Akoko.
Dr Muyiwa Olusa while addressing the delighted political think tank in their full capacity, expresses confidence to fill the shoes of the erstwhile Representative Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo having the professional and much diplomatic and political experience to paddle on the strides of his immediate predecessor.
The aspirant briefed the ward chairmen and local government excos on how the development of Akoko can further be achieved through his 13-point agenda.
The Ajowa born aspirant stated his plans to tackle issues that have bedeviled the development of Akoko since time immemorial, and states that agricultural support will lead to the development of Akoko North.
He enumerated plans to fund farming on a large scale as that will be the key to driving commerce and boosting the economy of Akoko land and in turn Akoko indigenes will mutually become job creators instead of job seekers.
He also plans to set up Information Technology centres where the technologically inclined minds can meet and work together with the global standard of ICT worldwide. He laid out his blueprint that involves the accommodation and development of 100 Tech gurus that will bring digital development to Akoko.
When elected, Dr. Muyiwa Olusa pledged that existing health centres will be boosted to provide for the constituents and also the elderly who will get a social service card that will entitle them to get free medicare and food if and when they desire it.
The aspirant noted that with his knowledge of business administration, financial transparency, the constituency funds will be properly accounted for in accessing government projects and Constituency empowerments. Representative offices will be dedicated to keeping such records and also bring the government closer to the people as there will be field officers whose job will be the monitoring of the progress of the constituents and analysing every success of their representation.
There are also plans to revamp education in Akoko North most especially the public primary schools. The aspirant who holds a Doctorate degree (PhD)in Legislative Drafting observed that with his extensive knowledge of the Law he will be instrumental in drafting bills that will be favourable to Akoko and the indigenes.
Also, there are plans to empower artisans as locally produced goods is the cornerstone of a functional economy.
The Akoko Northwest Chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC) party Hon. Obanla Kehinde (aka Ajapara) in his response expressed pleasure in having the legal luminary declared his intentions to contest in the upcoming elections. Other party members equally expressed their approval of the aspirant’s wish to represent them at the House of Representatives.
Dr Muyiwa Olusa is a well-rounded man with a superior education who has taken the development of Akoko North as his personal project and he hopes to bring his dreams for Akoko North into fruition.
